Marie Louise House is situated in Romsey town centre, in the shadow of the 10th Century Abbey. Despite the unbeatable location, only a few minutes stroll from the shops and facilities of the high street, the Home enjoys extensive gardens and the river Avon runs through the end of the meadow to the rear of the Home. Broadlands Estate, home of the Mountbatten family, is just a few minutes drive from Marie Louise House on the outskirts of Romsey.
The Home can easily be reached by public transport. Romsey bus station, with buses from Winchester and Hursley, and much of the surrounding countryside is a 5 minute walk from the Home. Romsey train station is a 15 minute walk through the town centre.
The home is easily accessed from Southampton via the M27.
There is a large car park on site for use by visitors. Please ensure you notify reception of your number plate on arrival.
