The menus are compiled by Marie, the Head Chef, who has City & Guilds qualification in Catering and has cooked in care homes for the past 5 years. The menus are designed to provide well balanced meals which ensure nutritional content is maintained. Marie’s team comprises dedicated and committed staff that enjoy preparing a variety of meals to a high standard.

All produce used within the home is fresh and most dietary needs can be met. Dietary requirements are identified by a registered nurse during an assessment prior to admission. The Head Chef will then visit the resident soon after their arrival at the Home to find out more about their dietary requirements and preferences.

Marie says:

“My staff and I are committed to providing good home cooking and want the residents to be happy with their meals. We listen to our residents and hope this is reflected in the menu. If a resident does not like the choice on the menu the kitchen staff are happy to cook an alternative meal.”
