Residents' comments...

At least once a year The Hospital Management Trust issues a ‘Residents and Relatives’ questionnaire which covers topics such as the standard of nursing and care provided, the comfort of bedrooms, the standard of catering and the courtesy and skill of the staff. 

Freepost envelopes are provided so that the completed questionnaires are sent directly to head office; we believe that this encourages residents and relatives to provide honest responses.

The most recent survey was sent out to residents and relatives in November 2006. The responses confirmed that the standard of care is considered to be very high with 80% classing the personal care and 95% classing the nursing care they receive as either "excellent" or "good".
