Lorraine is the chef and is responsible for the day to day preparation of the menus and overseeing the kitchen.

Coloma Court offers a wide choice of meals to meet individual tastes and nutritional needs as well as catering for special diets. Dietary requirements are identified by a registered nurse by means of a nutritional assessment. The weekly menus are compiled with emphasis placed on using high quality fresh seasonal ingredients, home made food and providing a balanced and varied diet.
Birthdays are celebrated with a cake and themed menus are developed to celebrated special occasions throughout the year
Residents are encouraged to eat in the dining room but may choose to eat in their own room if this is their preference. Family and friends may be invited to meals with prior arrangement and there is a small charge for this service. Tea, coffee and other hot drinks are served and are available throughout the day and night.
The catering function is regularly inspected by Environmental Health Department and at the last inspection was awarded a star rating certificate of “5 stars - excellent”
