Ian has managed the kitchen at the Alexian Brothers Care Centre for the past twenty years. He uses local produce delivered daily to provide a wide variety of choice.
We serve four meals daily, in addition to snacks, and home made biscuits and cakes always being available.
Our cooks liaise with dieticians ensuring all meals meet the nutritional requirements of the individual and are very willing and able to cater for any special diets, and take into account residents likes and dislikes.
Prior to working here, Ian had a managerial role within the very busy setting of a large general hospital kitchen, but he now enjoys being able to provide a personal service to our residents and he often visits them to ensure his service is meeting their needs and desires.
